Crossfields Festival
From 2010 to 2013 I was the chair of the Crossfields Estate Tenants and Residents Association in Deptford, London where I lived.
During this time I obtained funding from Lewisham Homes and organised a community festival with food, musicans and entertainers.
Residents got involved in many ways, from distributing flyers, helping set up on the day, making home-made burgers and baking cakes.
