Ivy's Garden
A new pocket park within Haggerston East housing estate in Hackney for use by local residents.
The path through the space is a short-cut between housing blocks and so I designed a simple curved path with a play area on one side and a grass lawn with picnic tables on the other.
Tough evergreen shrubs were combined with flowering annuals to provide screening from the adjacent road and housing blocks to create a green oasis within the built up area.
I was the project lead from inception through to completion on site.
